Ultrasound
NO PREPARATION IS REQUIRED for the following Ultrasounds:
- Thyroid – Parathyroid – Cervical
- The scrotum
- Renal
- Adrenal glands
- Soft Molecules
*** For Kidney and Bladder Ultrasound, the examinee should urinate one and a half hours before the appointment. Arrives at the Diagnostic Center at least half an hour before the scheduled appointment for examination. During this half hour you should drink 5 glasses of water and NOT go to the toilet. The same applies to Ultrasound of the Uterus – Parameters – Minor Pelvic Components and Prostate.
*** For Ultrasound of the Liver, Gallbladder, Pancreas, Spleen, Gallbladder – Gallbladder, the examinee should fast at least 8 (eight) hours before the scheduled time of examination, without using cigarettes or chewing gum
