Panoramic – Cephalometric

Panoramic X-ray is a technique that allows the imaging of the entire denture. Its usefulness lies in the diagnosis of dental diseases, so that the appropriate treatment can be suggested by the Dentist. In addition it helps to make a diagnosis about whether the patient should have denture surgery or not.

Cephalometric X-ray is a typical lateral radiograph, which is mainly used to accurately determine the distances between the jaw bones, as well as other anatomical points of the oral cavity.
